This art was used for Slightly Stoopid’s Closer to the Sun Music Festival in Mexico in 2016.
This was the first Closer to the Sun festival art I did for the band. I also made art for the 2017 and 2019 Events.
It's interesting to note in this piece had to be painted using layers so that the waves and the background could be shifted around to make it work in a panoramic dimension for web use as well as blowing it up huge for the stage.
This particular version was the panoramic version used for banners, and web content as well as the stage backdrop at the festival.
