“Lifetime of Blooms” is the inaugural work of Grace Williams for the Southern Bulb Company. It captures a summertime scene of a potting shed, with a large vanishing point that fades from a border of yellow spider lilies into sunlight. The bloom period highlights a pot of Lilium formosanum (known as Philippine lilies or Formosa lilies) with Hymenocallis 'Tropical Giant' (white spider lilies) blooming in the garden. Pots of pink rain lilies and a lively oak tree tell us summertime rain showers are nourishing the ground. Warmth and happiness is portrayed as the sun pokes through the evening clouds setting on the horizon. With cooling evening temperatures, the bike will soon be used for a tour through a neighborhood full of friends and other blooming plants.
