"La Sirene" is a spiritual icon in honor of the divine feminine water spirit. This particular image of La Sirene was channeled live during a community vodoun ceremony. The ceremony takes place annually during a celebration called "Anba Dlo", during which we make offerings to the water spirit so she can protect us from the rising sea levels and hurricanes that threaten our city.

New Orleans and Haiti have a very special relationship that has resulted from hundreds of years of cultural exchange. Haitian vodou has greatly influenced New Orleans spirituality and lives on today through practitioners who hold these communities ceremonies for healing.

This is the very first NFT edition of "The Goddess Collection" and is priced so you can start collecting early. 50% of the proceeds will the KANPE Foundation. In Haitian Creole, “kanpe” means to stand up. KANPE is a foundation that brings support to the most vulnerable communities in Haiti to help them achieve autonomy, so that they can “stand up”.
