While stopping for a coffee at a cafe in Santa Fe, NM I saw a large painting of the Virgen de Guadalupe. I decided I had to create my own version of this iconic figure. She is throwing off her robe. The 13 stars and 20 gold spikes make this a functional Mayan calendar. Below her is the Bat-Deer shaman from rock art at Seminole Canyon, TX.
