Photographer Peter Adams started the Faces of Open Source project in 2014 at his studio in Silicon Valley. Since then, he has photographed over 100 of the most important computer scientists, programmers ,and organizers behind the open source revolution. The result has been a collection of engaging portraits of figures such as Linus Torvalds (Linux), Vint Cerf (Internet), Christine Petersen (coined "Open Source"), Brendan Eich (JavaScript, Mozilla), etc.
A portion of sales will be donated to open source projects, collectives, and foundations featured in this project.
