My Happiness It's been over a year since I started drawing this picture, I can usually do it in a blink of an eye, but it's rare to see a picture that has been laid down like this. This half-painted picture (elephant) stays with me all day long. Whether I am busy doing other paintings or fluttering in the classroom, he always keeps silent and keeps waiting for his time. It's a picture, so I think it's natural. I have a voice of my work that only the painters can hear. All the paintings are really lovely and important, and I always have a lot of thoughts in front of one painting.
For me, it is the happiness of painting.
Kyoko Abe, born in Fukuoka, Japan. She always loved Thai things, so she moved to Thailand in 1996. She spent her afternoons giving kids art classes and did paint for her soul. She had first Solo Exhibition called “Spring Surprises” in 1998 at Akko Gallery in Bangkok. This was followed by the illustration of a story book based on the story of Kenji Miyazawa.
While in 2011 I worked on the “Bangkok – Fukuoka – 20years of Friendship” painting commissioned for poster use and the original being presented to the Mayor of Bangkok. 2012 meant another solo exhibition called “Let's go far, far away!” at Akko gallery. One more Solo Exhibition “Living in Thailand” in 2017.
In 2019, she become represented artist at Palette Artspace in Bangkok, Thailand. She has solo exhibition called “My Little Garden” in 2020. Next step in her artist life is becoming NFT artist with her gallery in 2021.
