About the artist:
Tetyana Malinovska – Ukrainian artist, independent curator, mother-heroine. Was born in 1980 in the city of Odessa. Works in techniques of oil painting, graphics, embroidery, media art, video art. Since 2005 has been working in collaboration with the artist Artem Volokitin. Since 2007 - co-founder of the workshop VM Art Studio, art creative laboratory, independent art space. Nominee of the festival of contemporary art NON STOP MEDIA 2008. Lives and works in Kharkiv and Kyiv.
The «Namysto» collection consist of many original NFT beads created by hundreds of Ukrainian artists of all ages. This project is created to support Ukrainian artists and army during the Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.

Namysto - a traditional Ukrainian decoration of pearls, corals, stones, etc., worn around the neck. Namysto are one of the oldest jewelry known since the Paleolithic. Now they are worn mainly by women, but historically they have been used as jewelry by men. The Namysto necklace can also be named after the material - "corals", "beads", "beads". One element of the Namysto necklace (pearl, stone, etc.) is called a «Namystyna» (rarely a bead).
