This concept was born during the Victorian age, when there were excessive use of ornament in design and art. Intricate patterns and interwoven symbols may have served for apotropaic as well as for decorative functions. Somehow these paintings resemble this concept: a big number of lines which go in several directions, brushstrokes with variable thickness, geometric patterns, colors, organic forms and spray painting coexist in an abstract expressionist and surrealist personal universe.
