Growing up everyone wanted to be like Mike. I remember the first time wearing his shoes I thought I was going to be able to fly. Watching him on the court was like watching superman... I still don't know how he moved the way he did. It was like he was born to jump, slam dunk, and play basketball. He singlehanded put basketball on the map. He was just too amazing to watch.

It got to the point where I started wanting him to lose, he was that good... but no matter what I or anyone thought, Michael Jordan was about to be Michael Jordan, that's what I respect the most about him, he always figured a way to get it done. I mean 3 back to back championships 2 times is just amazing.

The debate between Jordan, Kobe, and LeBron will forever be a thing. Many people would argue that he was the most dominant. I'm just blessed to have watched him play.

The artwork was created on iPad Pro + Apple Pencil with Procreate.

For those of y'all who have been following my journey as an artist. This is my story continued.

Many people do not know I was adopted (By my father) when I was 5 years old. Because of this, I have so much respect for the people who step up to be stepfathers and stepmothers. Growing up not knowing my biological father left me wondering about my family history and my lineage. Asking the questions, "Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? What do I want to do with my life?"

With the perspective of being mixed race, looking for mentors or guidance from one source didn't make sense. On top of my racial mixtures, I am also interested in a multitude of subjects & disciplines. From fashion, music, arts, sports, community, writing, content, business... the list is long.

I always looked for people from whom I could find guidance. Over the years I learned and stood on the shoulders of those that came before me.

These are people who, for one reason or another, I respect and admire.
