I grew up with a computer in my home and computers at my schools. Going into the computer lab was almost always my favorite part of the day. The computer lab was this room full of Apple computers where you would go and play games like Number Munchers, Oregon Trail, and all types of educational games of the sort.

This was all powered by, Steve Jobs. I really started paying attention to Steve when the iPhone came out. I was intrigued by how obsessed people were with this phone. I wondered how to like how good could it possibly be. Well we now know, it's that good. Pretty much anyone who is anyone uses an iPhone. And this is just a small piece of what Steve brought to the world.

He had an innovative spirit that believed the future could be better if we make it that way. I like that vision of our future. I like to think that things should be getting better with time and we should get devices and machines that make our life easier. I'm writing this message on a MacBook Pro, which I create most of my work on, or my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil, or my iPhone. I couldn't imagine a world without these devices. He left us with some amazing innovations and a place to go explore the future at the Apple Store. He is gone but will not be forgotten.

The artwork was created on iPad Pro + Apple Pencil with Procreate.

For those of y'all who have been following my journey as an artist. This is my story continued.

Many people do not know I was adopted (By my father) when I was 5 years old. Because of this, I have so much respect for the people who step up to be stepfathers and stepmothers. Growing up not knowing my biological father left me wondering about my family history and my lineage. Asking the questions, "Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? What do I want to do with my life?"

With the perspective of being mixed race, looking for mentors or guidance from one source didn't make sense. On top of my racial mixtures, I am also interested in a multitude of subjects & disciplines. From fashion, music, arts, sports, community, writing, content, business... the list is long.

I always looked for people from whom I could find guidance. Over the years I learned and stood on the shoulders of those that came before me.

These are people who, for one reason or another, I respect and admire.
