‘A dark sky casting lonesome shadows, stars have stopped whispering, an inner flame remaining’ (Japanese Haiku Poem)
While large parts of our world have been locked down, i took the opportunity to explore places, now empty and abandoned and quiet. Despite this new tranquility and some inner relaxation the landscapes i found kept reminding me on the darkness that covered our souls in these times.
‘I wondered at what point in space the silly, sham blue of the sky turned black.’ (Sylvia Plath)
