'HOLD ME' is an acrylic painting done on a 30" x 40" canvas and later touched up on Procreate.

I created 'HOLD ME' for an exhibition in LA. In this piece, I wanted to highlight a boy's fragility in his insecurities. He refuses to be held, however, the way he sits there, and the way he acts is of one that needs comfort. Sometimes the refusal of help, and the tough exterior, not only hurts oneself, but the people around them.

An exploration of identity and emotion through the use of acrylic paint that is later digitalized. Camille uses a blend of colors to create vibrant and emotionful portraits of individuals in her life, and in her head. She explores recovery and empowerment through storytelling in creativity.

I paint because I need to, and the process is not always within my comfort. A successful piece shows that I have pushed myself to open myself up.
