There is a community of sad lawyers out there, and many of them look to creative outlets to get them through difficult moments. Much of this art has been kept from public view. This NFT project seeks to reveal it, and memorialize these artistic expressions in a time capsule on the Blockchain. The Sad Lawyer character was sketched by a real New York City lawyer ("RL") during a terribly boring, uninspiring conference call. The first series of NFT consists of 250 uniquely styled portraits of the Sad Lawyer character (on ERC-1155), released 5 at a time, with sale of each set of 5 revealing the next 5 portraits. Each portrait was designed by RL, capturing different painting styles and eras in art, and inspired by RL's favorite artists. If 250 portraits sell out, 15% of profits will be donated to a non-profit related to Mental Health and the Legal Profession.
