003 - Harrison was an unfortunate soul who came too close for comfort to the local villages. It was not his fault as we humans love to destroy their homes in order to buy nice things and make lots of money. Harrisons battle scars came from many encounters with other wild elephants in the region. Unfortunately Harrison is no longer with us. RIP Big Boy.
A very personal photography project documenting the last of the remaining Sumatran elephants both in the wild and in captivity throughout the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The documentary photographs are a direct record of life for the elephants of Sumatra being critically endangered with as few as 1000 remaining. This photography series will help bring to light the need to work to save these amazing animals and support through open sea and nft sales will help continue this much needed documentary series.
