'Drifting box' is a 40cm glass water proof cubic sculpture. It is deployed into the sea off the coast of Shenzhen, China where it will float uncontrollably, pushed by the wind and tide. Within the glass box is a solar powered tracking device which allows its position to be followed back to the shore by a computer. Once the project is deployed, I will be permanently disconnected from the artwork. Its final location and fate will be unknown.
