The world that is revealed is populated by anthropomorphic and zoomorphic entities that embody emotional states, mystical, paradoxical and ironic, Always lightly, Dotti makes us part of these visions, managing to make us see clearly the breath that from each of them stands.

Dotti starts to familiarize with photography at the age of 7, printing in the darkroom along with his father, famous photo-reporter of la dolce vita . During those years Dotti lives surrounded by personalities of the art scene, acquaintances of his parents and, still a kid, following his father during the production of television and cinema he gets to know, in one of these occasions, the Maestro Federico Fellini. These early experiences and encounters will influence deeply the career of Dotti and his personal style as a visionary photographer and artist. At the age of 16 he starts shooting with the father and in a few years becomes an affirmed interpreter of celebrities’ portraits, following the television jazz-set during all the eighties, when he also works as stage photographer for movies productions. In 1990 he moves to the United States, where he works as a freelance fashion photographer for over 7 years with magazines, celebrities and producers. This is a crucial period in the creative growth of Dotti: he applies to fashion photography all the experience and influences acquired working in television and cinema. In 1997 he comes back to Europe and lives between Milano, London, Paris and Amsterdam, working for major haute couture brands and print publishers. Soon after, in 2004 he launches his career as a visual artist, maintaining the visionary and prolific approach he adopted from the fashion career.
