Any attempt to investigate the geometry of life, the structure of the Universe and consciousness, social and ecological systems, inevitably leads us to the idea that everything is based on patterns.

The Neopatternion art community was created at the junction of software engineering, mathematics, art and philosophy. Neopatternion is best viewed as one single artist, as a sort of pattern reflecting our current state of understanding of the world around us, which we investigate through our intellect and feelings.

We were able to develop a conceptual foundation and the corresponding kind of mathematics. We reflected these in a software code allowing us to generate unique patterns and visualizing them through digital processing.

Human consciousness cannot be reduced to digital processing. The presence of 'qualia' - a distinctive subjective reality we humans are endowed with, turns investigation of human consciousness, psychology and mind into a fascinating adventure.
