There she sat, beneath that tree.

I'd find her there, resting, after each work day.

She was proud.

She refused to let me carry her bags.

She was strong, even when so weakened.

I've met many Mothers of Autistic children who carry the weight all alone. Often because there is no other choice but frequently because they have trouble believing others could care enough. It's ok to share. Someone can take out your trash. Someone is willing to do a load of laundry for you. Someone is here to lift you up. You're not alone.
