The path to Kyuko Production Place:Machu Picchu, Peru

I passed a small village at the foot of the mountain. Peep pip pip, boom boom jaga jaga boom. Pipip peep peep

Children marched in a line. Must be the marching band from the school festival.

I saw the Inca Empire on the border of the Andes and the Amazon jungles. I looked up the mountain but Machu Picchu, the city in the sky, could not be seen. I climbed the Kyuko stone steps that are clinging on to the steep cliff.

Barefooted old woman carrying a huge bag, slowly walks in front of me. I passed through a small sturdy stone gates and the Ruins spread in front of me.

The magnificent and overwhelming scenery fascinated me.

The temple of the sun, the temple of the moon, the painting on the castle wall, I spread the paper in the sacred square and took a deep breath. “I have known this wind from ages ago.”

麓(ふもと)の小さな村を過ぎた。 ピーピピツピ　ドンドンジャガジャガドン ピピツピーピー

子供達が列をつくって行進している。 学校開校祭りの鼓笛隊だ。

アンデスとアマゾンの密林の境界線のインカ帝国。 山の上を見あげたが、空中都市マチュピチュは見えない。 山の断崖絶壁に張り付くような汲古の石段を登って行く。

目の前を裸足の老婆が大きな荷物を背負い　 ゆっくり　ゆっくり歩む。 頑丈な石造りの小さな門をくぐり抜けると 眼前に遺跡が見えた。

圧倒的な壮大な美しさに魅了された。

　太陽の神殿　月の神殿　城壁の刻絵 神聖なる広場で紙を広げ、大きく息を吸う。 「この風を　ずっと昔から　知っている」
