Originally created by A.I.M. as Minion, a bounty hunter. I loved the character design as a child but I think it tied into that once he was assisted by Reed Richards he broke free of his original programming to become semi-hero"ish". Overcoming personal programming to become something better in-spite of your beginnings, albeit with help from the brilliant Reed Richard's is still a bit heroic...plus he was just awesome and being able to absorb the abilities and intelligence of everyone he assimilated was badass.
Anatomy of a Superhero is a series that breathes new life into old comics by physically collaging together comic panels while digitally overlaying x-rays with vintage halftone effects. The idea being that what lies at the core of a hero or villain for that matter, is far more than their abilities or their armor. Origin stories are something so many of us struggle with: in our families, our relationships and our ability to draw parallels can be powerful and hopefully a reminder that everyday acts (even the small ones) can be courageous and courageous acts as habit can be a little heroic.
