Day 16 from Everyday Project 2021- SANDSTORM - (2000 x 2023)
Inspired by Hiroshi Teshigahara's film "Woman in the Dunes" (1964) based on Kōbō Abe's novel
Over the course of 2021 I'm making art everyday. The Everyday Project is a collection of selected works that I'm releasing as 1/1s and some released as limited editions.
I challenge myself daily to create a new piece. My practice centers on deconstruction, remixing and pixel manipulation. I use AI with a focus on deepfakes and image manipulation through glitch processing. I'm also in discussions to turn parts of the Everyday Project into a book.
A portion of sales are donated to climate related NGOs.
I'm a storyteller/artist working in film, tv, theatre, games & code. DM for physical framed prints. My work has been presented at Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca and New York Film Festivals as well as MoMI, MoMA and the New Museum.
