It happened very quickly. Of course, he had his logic: he was already advanced in age. If he had done it at a slower speed, he would have completely lost his sense, if there is any sense to be found in having your life pass in front of your nose. But what was curious and what astonished him was that what was actually shown him was not his life, but the life that he would have led without making the blunders that, apparently, he had been perpetrating over and over again. And within the striking of the parallel situation, what surprised him the most was is that he saw himself with a woman’s body.
PORTADAS de REALIDAD is a collection of the artists Borrallo and Garijo made up of 21 art works that reflect the existing problems in today's society. Product of 2 years of joint work, it constitutes a solid work in an unpublished format.
The integration of different layers —the plastic layer, the literary one, the technological one, the temporal/social one and the market layer—, makes this a new multi-expression, multi-dimensional format aimed at the investment market.
This work is intended to be a reference; a work that explains itself and sells itself.
In this new market vision, the client does NOT buy an art work, the client invests in an art work. In addition to acquiring one of these works, the client also participates in the history of the creation of an artistic movement where different disciplines are integrated and which allows artists, gallery owners and collectors to conceive art from an innovative point of view beyond the mere creation.
