Death Punk 238 incorporates ASCII BERNANKE, the second image included in the tribute to Len Sassaman written into Bitcoin block 138725. This was the first art embedded into the blockchain.

Ben Bernanke is an economist and was Chair of the United States Federal Reserve 2006 - 2014 and implemented the Federal Reserve’s response to the GFC which was Brrr. Under Bernanke, the Reserve took interest rates to 0% and when this wasn’t enough, used the money printer to create $1.3 trillion. Bernanke bailed out Wall St. heralding either a new era of ‘capitalism’ or the end. Bernanke is also known as "Helicopter Ben" with his "helicopter printing press." The original BRRR….
