“Newly Minted - Gold" is part of "The Game of Life" series that combines oversized game pieces and figures representing the awareness of the self that is operating within the games run by many unconscious rules and biases permeating life. This work begins first with hand-drawn conte chalk drawing that is then scanned and digitally enhanced.
All individual pieces exist as singular tokens and experiences. There is a dialogue with the larger creative oeuvre (body of work as a whole) but they are not interdependent. A piece in a series is a stand-alone artwork. Inspired by the Trevor Jones Bitcoin Bull series you can collect all versions of the NFTs in a series; Bronze 1 of 10, Silver 1 of 5, Gold 1 of 3, and the one of a kind Platinum 1 of 1.

"The Game of Life" Limited Edition Series combines game pieces and figures created by Tim S. Murphy, a visual artist at the intersection of analog & digital art. He uses the symbolism of game pieces to illustrate the many roles played in life. He injects humor showing that we are not playing by the same rules as one another, and most of us are oblivious to this. Contrasting the games are the glowing and flying figures. They glow from within and navigate life more aware and less distracted by the surrounding games.
