In My NFT I generated a sub-atomic particle collisions which fall and rebound to rise up, exploring a relationship between algorithmic data and the pictorial.
I work with Java programming language to to model particle collisions akin to Bubble Chamber reactions created in super-colliders. I manipulate computer code to generate animations of particle collisions. This manipulation becomes a drawing process where parameters are set and random moments of collision are captured.
In this NFT I worked with the idea of gravity, creating behaviors for quark, muon, hadron and axion particles. The particles react randomly so the end result is always a surprise.
The EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL is a celebration of: uplifting women, non-binary artists, creating opportunities, encouragement, connection, community, inspiration and love. Bringing together established artists alongside hundreds of emerging artists, some showing for the first time. The Biennial launched in NYC in 2014 by founder C. Finley, originally under the name, The Whitney Houston Biennial, as a way to provide a platform and exposure for more female artists.
