A protester on the demonstration against the populist government of PM Janez Janša at the Trg Republike square in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2020). Protesters are protesting for now record 79 Friday evenings in a row. They demand the resignation of the government accused of corruption, autocracy, revisionism, government that stoped the funding of the Slovenian Press Agency 10 months ago and is insulting it's opponents publicly daily. Protesters managed to organise a national referendum in which the government's law, that would liberalise construction on the river banks, was rejected by a big majority of voters. Protesters are also demanding the resignation of the unresponsive president of the Republic.
