This is the image of one of my first paper chairs. Created for the presentation "Nomadi" in FS Coaches at Porta Genova, Milan, Italy, 1991. Now, many years later the chair is an experiment again. An NFT experiment. The goal is to bring an absolutely analog product to the world of blockchain. The first NFT certified chair.

This chair was used for many years in Roberts studio and at home. The signs of use are visible and also the repairs that were applied. The uniqueness of the chair can also be seen in the way it was made. The wrapping paper strips were applied individually by hand and are visible as fine lines. The small logo on the back is a miniature pilot chair made of wood with gilding.

Important: The offer additionally includes the real chair pictured. (Transport unfortunately not included)

The image was created on May 1, 2021. The pictures were taken in daylight and not edited. Stitched with Layout from Instagram. Idea and realization during Covid stay home period 2021. Original Pilot chair from 1991. Produced in a small non-limited edition by the designer.

I live and work in Zurich, Switzerland. My studio is centrally located in the city and close to a green park. I work in product design, lighting design and furniture. My work is therefore related to space and involves many artistic techniques, such as photography and painting. Analog to digital. The real objects are available on request. Chair, toy etc. I work as a lecturer and mentor at the Zurich University of the Arts. My mother tongue is Swiss German.
