During the last 30 years, the Government of Lithuania created over 100 objects of Nazi glorification: there are monuments, memorial plaques glorifying key figures of the Adolf Hitler regime in Lithuania. Many schools and streets are named to honour Nazi war criminals. Many Holocaust perpetrators got the Knight Cross or were promoted to the military rank of general or colonel by President of Lithuania during the last 30 years. The contemporary Government of Lithuania glorifies Nazis for their contribution to liberation of Lithuania, despite murdering 211,000 Jews during the World War II.

Prof. Dr. Stanislovas Tomas is of multiethnic origin. On 8 April 2019, he took a sledgehammer and destroyed the Nazi memorial plaque of Jonas Noreika. Noreika was a Nazi military commander who murdered about 14,500 Jews from 1941 to 1943. Moreover, Noreika signed an application to establish the Skaistgiris death camp asking 1,181,660 rubles for that purpose from the Minister (General Councillor) of Interior of Lithuania. The City of Vilnius (capital of Lithuania) restored the Nazi memorial plaque on the 10th day after its destruction, and Stanislovas was sentenced to 3 months of prison.

The Nazi plaque is still at the same wall of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences. By the way, there is no even a single memorial plaque of a Lithuanian scientist in that building, because all Lithuanian scientists were Jewish. The contemporary Government of Lithuania tries to delete all those scientists from history.

The artist made 13 strikes with a sledgehammer in 38 seconds, and the symbol of contemporary Lithuania was destroyed.

The Lithuanian courts ordered the police to destroy the sledgehammer, and it was destroyed on 30 October 2019. The police refuses to explain how they have destroyed the sledgehammer, but it will be discovered in the future.

Professor Tomas is hated by ethnic Lithuanians for destroying the Nazi memorial plaque, which is a symbol of contemporary Lithuania. He received numerous threats to murder him. President Gitanas Nauseda, Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis, President of the Lithuanian Parliament, and Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis condemned him for destroying the Nazi plaque. By the way, Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis is a great grandson of Nazi war criminal Vytautas Landsbergis.

Stanislovas Tomas fled Lithuanian police, and his current location is unknown. The United Nations opened case No. 3755/2020 to investigate the right of Lithuania to erect monuments glorifying Nazism in the 21st century, and to assess the 3 months prison sentence of the artist. Moreover, the case is currently pending before 3 other courts. 7 courts have already issued their judgments on this issue. The story is still developing.

Over 1000 articles are published on this issue by the Lithuanian Neo-Nazi press condemning the professor of law for destroying the Nazi plaque symbolizing contemporary Lithuania. As a rule, Lithuanian Neo-Nazi journalists claim that Stanislovas' PhD in law diploma from the Paris Sorbonne University is fake, but its authenticity may easily be verified at the official website of the French Ministry of Higher Education http://www.theses.fr/2010PA010279
