"Is That You, Mordecai" - The original painting was on a 12" x 12" wood panel. I used acrylic paint for the background and an acrylic ink for all the black lines. And yes, the title for this painting was inspired by Richie and his hawk, Mordecai, from The Royal Tenenbaums. This is not a portrait Richie, but after I painted it the title just seemed fitting. Fun fact! The original hawk used to play Mordecai was kidnapped during shooting and held for ransom. Production could not wait for him to be returned which is the reason why the bird at the end of the movie has more white feathers…it's a different bird. Anyway...included with this NFT is "unlockable content" that is only available for the first owner of this piece.
