Located at 2108 Laurel Canyon Blvd. at the intersection of Kirkwood Drive, the Canyon Country Store sits in the heart of the rustic community of Laurel Canyon which, in the late 60's and early 70's, was the epi-center of the folk and rock music scene and where countless famous musicians of the era lived or hung out. Residents of the area included legendary artists David Crosby, Joni Mitchell, Glenn Frey, Jackson Browne, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Wilson, Neil Young, Carole King, and its most notorious resident, Jim Morrison of The Doors and his longtime partner Pamela Courson. During this time, the Canyon Country Store served as a gathering spot for the musicians who would swing by for a spontaneous jam session on the outdoor patio.

Jim Morrison's house on Love Street is clearly visible on both the NFT 3D model and the Orthophoto GeoTIFF. When interacting with the 3D model, look for the house with the clay tile roof with pretty pink bougainvillea in front. It's behind and to the right of the store and next door to the cleaners.

The store is still in business, with the same charm and serving the artistic community that still lives in that neighborhood. An excellent 2018 documentary, Echo in the Canyon, explores the rich musical history of Laurel Canyon, with the Canyon Country Store serving as the focal point. Perfect for the aficionado of Rock & Roll music history, this NFT includes 4 collectable assets, produced specifically for this blockchain archiving, through the rendering of photographs (photogrammetry) captured from above the canyon. The owner of the NFT will be able to unlock the NFT assets (stored on IPFS) which includes an original interactive 3D model (CLICK HERE to experience the interactive demo) to showcase in your collection and allows you to explore the exterior and surroundings of the venue by spinning, rotating and zooming-in on the model; A single .jpg reference image used in the photogrammetry. Additionally the NFT includes a 4K spinning animation video and the original Orthophoto GeoTIFF image file which contains all of the geo-referenced coordinate data of the site. The GeoTIFF can be placed accurately on geo-reference mapping applications such as QGIS.

This is the FIRST EVER (1 of 1) NFT minted of this historic site. It will be the only NFT minting of the included assets. The purchaser will be the first collector to own this original, digital slice of music history.
