A single shot image that I captured during the craziest lightning storm I have ever seen here on Vancouver Island last Summer. It was always my dream to capture lightning, but since it is a very rare event where I live; I never had the chance to until this storm. And of course, since I was so excited about finally getting a lightning storm, I wasn't thinking too much about safety. I ended up shooting this crazy storm right in the center of it, and if you've seen my "Thunderstruck" image, you'd know just how close those bolts were hitting... Not the brightest moment of my life that's for sure. But hey, the photos were something else... Though in the future, I'll make sure to pay a little more attention.

For the post-production, I decided to get really crazy with the colors and go for something that emphasized that overall chaos going on with this image. The light that the industrial buildings created on the horizon really added to the day-to-night look I was going for.
