The Summoning - 3D Fractal Art by Spaced Painter 2017 Resolution 9500 x 7125

The Summoning is a Spaced Painter 3D Fractal gem that holds much more than initially apparent to the untrained eye. This piece is a pure fractal entirely created within fractal software in which the colouring was achieved solely through the use of a lightmap projected onto the raw fractal (no manual colouring has been used whatsoever). As usual with my Visionary work it was clear to me that this piece wanted to emerge from the fractal mathematical code and Become. I’ve spent countless hours over months on end working on it until I felt I had done justice to this vision. The process is highly technical but consisted of endless incremental small adjustments of the mathematical code as well as of the lightmap in order to bring out the desired shapes. Anyone who has delved into creating Fractal Art can appreciate how extremely tricky it is attempting to create human and demon shapes alike. As always when working with fractals I was amazed and even shocked (quite frankly still am) to see the majesty of this scene be born.
