UMI-BUSHI provides photographs from behind the waves taken by photographer MIKIHIKO KYOBASHI(MK) from Tokyo, which reflect a magnificent world created by moving water and Sun light that humans cannot easily see.

MK swims in the ocean with only flippers and a mask, without using oxygen cylinders or other equipment, and is an "adventure photographer" who intuitively shoots waves from underwater.

His works have awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology Award of the Republic of Latvia and have a worldwide reputation, including being chosen as an "Adventure Water Man" for an advertisement by the Swiss watch brand Longines. He has exhibited his works in New York, Munich, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Rome, etc. His photo book “Blue Forest” published in 2016 has dedicated and kept in Ise Shrine. In 2021, he collaborated with a Zen temple in Kyoto to create a 14-meter-long “Blue Wave Sliding Door”
