The illustrations in this series were developed from my interaction with an artificial intelligence algorithm.
As each work was conceived by the algorithm based on the instructions I provided, I named "Inavlag Odraude" the singular author entity that I understand to emerge from the obliteration between the human element (me) and the machine (computer). Hence the title "Third Nature", a concept that translates the autonomous creative entity that arises from the combination of human biological nature (first nature) and post-human technological nature (second nature).
The themes portray common contemporary concepts and experiences of humanity at the beginning of the 21st century — a period historically recognized as "The Information Age". The visual style pays homage to painters who have inspired me throughout my life, such as Cândido Portinari, Salvador Dalí, Michelangelo, Edward Hopper, Paul Klee, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Hieronymus Bosch, Edvard Munch, among others.​​​​​​​
