I accidentally stumbled upon the cabin and its surrounding lake in August 2013. I suppose it was love at first sight. Not only does the scene offer images that speak to the viewer, but the lake also is draped in a peace which defies words. Both are qualities which repeatedly have drawn me back to the location. During my first years with a camera the visits were very frequent, but as time has passed and I have matured as a photographer visits have become less frequent.
