Suminagashi is a Japanese marbling craft. You let ink fall onto still water, then comb the surface until the veins tangle. No two sheets come out alike, because the water never does the same thing twice.
This collection moves it onto a 256 by 256 grid. It isn't a picture of the process. It is the process: a flow field carries the ink, each new drop pushes the older ones outward, and whatever crosses the edge is gone. There is no final frame.
No server, no CDN, no image hosted anywhere. The program that draws your piece is written into Base and runs in your browser when you open it. All 1,111 artworks and the 12 KB engine that paints them are stored on chain, with zero external dependencies. If every website in the world went dark tomorrow, your piece would still work.
Every piece is derived from its token's hash, so two people opening the same token see exactly the same pixels.
