Born in Italy, my artistic journey took me to Turin, where I honed my skills. However, it was in London, a vibrant hub of cultural diversity, that I discovered my artistic sanctuary. The dynamic, ever-evolving city profoundly shaped my worldview and enriched my artistic perspective.
My specialization lies in the mesmerizing world of cyanotypes and solar prints, techniques inspired by the ingenious discoveries of the renowned chemist Sir John Frederick William Herschel. Cyanotype, in particular, holds a special allure for me. It wields the transformative power of light to craft images, unfolding with the irreplaceable charm of Prussian blue, a distinctive hue emerging through a chemical reaction facilitated by iron compound salts. This remarkable technique transcends modern constraints, allowing me to capture not just images but the very essence of the stories I aim to tell.
Through my art, I extend an invitation to viewers: a journey across time and landscapes, a unique perspective on the world that encourages them to see it through different eyes. My aspiration is that my work, deeply steeped in history, culture, and creativity, acts as a catalyst for empathy and understanding. Ultimately, I aim to inspire a world where every individual aspires to become their very best self, guided by the compass of respect, acceptance and curiosity.
