On a beautiful day in March 2015, I found myself strolling the neighborhood of Mullae with two other artists, a Korean girl, and an English guy. Our mission: to find the perfect wall. After scaling a few rooftops, we clambered upon a perch big enough for all of us, and unanimously decided to paint a face. As we improvised on-site, I envisioned a lively, underground cartoon-style warrior taking shape on the wall.
The mural gained praised from pedestrians and lasted a glorious three years. Yet, one day, with no warning, the rooftop was blanketed in white paint, erasing all traces of our artwork and shared moment together.

In the heart of Sindorim, Seoul's old metal workers' neighborhood, I stumbled across a weathered wall that begged for artistic transformation. Against a backdrop of textured metal blues, I constructed my own biomechanical jungle where rocks, flowers, leaves, and metallic debris seamlessly fused together, giving birth to a singular landscape that breathed life into the urban surroundings.

Graffiti on a sidewalk tunnel called the Rabbit Hole located in Sinchon, Seoul. It features WEZT characters in a classic wild style In the heart of Sincheon neighborhood lies “The Rabbit Hole,” a destination for raw and rebellious types. Within the tunnel’s depths emerges an unmistakable WEZT character rendered in classic “Wild Style” graffiti, a throwback to the roots of our artform in New York city.

The iconic WEZT character now sits on the shutters of a local factory in the heart of Mullae neighborhood in Seoul, renowned for the clang of its ironworkers. This area, where loud factories and cozy cafes coexist, buzzes with activity on weekdays when laborers are in full swing. However, come the weekend, the alleys slip into a tranquil peace, making it hard to spot anyone. Eager to infuse vibrancy into these quiet nights, I collaborated with other artists and the owners of the factories to breathe new life into their still shutters. The result? Approximately 50 meters of industrial landscape transformed into a creative playground, even in the quiet of the night.

In this artwork, characters joyfully engage in graffiti on the weathered walls of Seongsu-dong in Seoul, capturing the carefree spirit of street art. The scene radiates the romance of graffiti writers, who, at any time, take to the streets to leave their vibrant drawings on the aging urban canvas.

This artwork, towering at 7 meters in height and stretching 4 meters wide, was brought to life in Aewol, Jeju Island. Inspired by the playful notion of penguins immersed in street culture on the island, it offers a fragmented glimpse into the exhilarating world of graffiti and skateboard adventures

"Euljiro Mundeok" pays homage to the historic avenue in Seoul, named after the revered 7th century military leader Eulji Mundeok, who saved Korea from an advancing Chinese army. This artwork seamlessly blends the essence of ancient Korean warrior armor with traditional carvings, embodying the enduring link between the past and present. The link of the ancient to the contemporary is also present in the relationship to metal between the armor and the craftsmen who currently work in Euljiro.

In Korea, spray paint is noticeably more expensive than in Europe, which affects the way artists interact with street murals. Here, many people use brushes. Since my arrival in 2016, I’ve also adapted this approach to challenge myself, a shift that has allowed for a more intricate and detailed execution, particularly in lettering and finer details. This naturally lead to a more pronounced expression of my own graphic style during the creative process, which was heavily influenced by underground comics from my youth.
