Over the past weeks, we've seen artists in this space collaborating across styles and perspectives. It reminds us that some of the most exciting ideas emerge when different ways of seeing come together.
With this project, I wanted to explore another kind of collaboration: one that was impossible in the physical world.
What if artists from different generations could create together? What would a collaboration between Monet (1840) and Rothko (1903) look like?
They were separated by 63 years in age and lived in different artistic worlds. In reality, that collaboration could never have happened.
Digital art introduces a different possibility. It allows ideas, aesthetics, with creative languages to meet beyond the limits of a single lifetime. Artists who never shared the same studio, city, decade, even century can now exist within the same frame.
This project and I are trying to recreate the past with the future of tools, exploring the potential of the future.
