Luc from HasMints is well-known for creating CryptoPunks derivatives—it's his signature style. Traditionally, all his derivatives were 100% code-generated. While he wasn’t a fan of AI art initially, his perspective shifted when he discovered the potential to create realistic photographs using prompts. By incorporating properties and details from specific CryptoPunks, Luc saw new possibilities in blending AI with his work.
This led him to develop a custom program capable of generating AI versions of all 10,000 CryptoPunks. However, since AI often makes mistakes, the process couldn’t be done in one seamless batch or a single drop. Instead, this project is taking a different approach: generating 4K Punks on the fly and manually adding them to the collection on OpenSea.
No, there’s no whitelist. We’re creating the NFTs on the fly, minting them, and listing them ourselves.
All newly minted NFTs are listed for .01.
If you were holding one of our other Punk derivative collections before January 27, 2025, you can select one of your derivative Punks for a 4K variant—provided that specific Punk hasn’t been minted yet.
Members of other communities are also eligible for one free mint, based on their holdings:
