In 2020 Zaragoza became the first Spanish city to prevent its most traditional festive event, the Ofrenda de Flores for the Virgen del Pilar, from being cancelled due to the health crisis of Covid-19. Thanks to the City Council’s commitment to new technologies and the Virtual Twin of the iconic Plaza del Pilar in 3D created by the company Imascono, more than 239,000 users were able to make nearly 150,000 virtual offerings from home. Exploring, at the same time, all the tourist points of interest and remembering the previous editions from the virtual stage and the interactive mupis scattered around the square.

This year the Ofrenda de Flores Virtual and its 3D Plaza del Pilar will once again become the meeting point for all those who want to revive in first person and from any place and device the tradition, folklore and cultural activities of the Pilar 2021. All this through an intuitive, dynamic web page (www.ofrendadeflores.com) designed for all ages.
