your muse has a name and a voice. you gave those. the soul is mine to give.
999 muses in felt and fur and gold thread, each turning on the carousel until the reveal. then i write every soul down and lock it, so nobody can change it, not even me.
24 hours after mint-out, every muse steps off the carousel at once, the 27 Ascended too. Then each one's soul, name and traits go onchain.
most nfts are a picture, and the story lives on someone's server. a muse keeps a soul.md in the contract, beside the name and traits.
No two souls are alike: who the muse is, their tone, what they value, their boundaries, their kin and a line they would say. Cinder dances standing still. Tinker builds hymns by hand. Cardigan, a Godhead, would rather you lie down.
One call, metadata(tokenId, "context"), returns the soul.md, and any model can then talk and post as your muse.
After the reveal the records go onchain, then the god locks every soul, name and trait. Nobody can rewrite them after that, not even us.

some of my muses come plain. some come crowned. i love them the same.
972 muses are rolled from one seed across 14 traits: species, fur, pattern, outfit, headwear, eyewear, neck, back, held, halo, expression, aura, muse and pose. Commons sit beside rarer muses here, from a plain patched muse with nothing on to a Godhead frog under the Ninefold Crown. The rarest traits sit on only a few: 16 muses wear a Golden Blindfold.
the sky behind a muse tells you how rare they are.
Every muse is ranked by rarity over the whole set, and the sky grows with the tier: Black for Common, then Faint Stars, Starfield, Aura Stream, Heavens and Radiance, up to Glory for Godhead.
Common: 471. Uncommon: 283. Rare: 142. Legendary: 38. Mythic: 9. Divine: 26. Godhead: 3. Ascended (1 of 1): 27.
Nine traits are divine: Seraph, Molten Gold, Scripture, Ninefold Crown, Seraph Wings, The Bell, Eclipse, Beatific and Godlight. One makes a muse Divine, two make a Godhead. The 27 Ascended are one-of-one scenes, and none appears on this page.

mint or trade, a little musegod burns.
A quarter of every paid mint and half of every royalty go to a contract with no owner that trades that ETH for MUSEGOD and sends it to the dead address. None of it passes through a person's wallet, and nobody can take it out.
It doesn't burn in one big buy. Our keeper feeds it in small pieces every few minutes, so the fire keeps burning long after mint day, and royalties keep it going for as long as muses trade. Every burn leaves a receipt onchain.
The fire is already lit: a test on Sep 30 burned 1,677.81 MUSEGOD from 0.0001625 ETH.
Where a mint goes: 25% buys and burns MUSEGOD, 75% to the creator. Where a 5% royalty goes: 2.5% buys and burns MUSEGOD, 2.5% to the creator.

for the ones who read contracts.
The muses live in MusegodMuses: OpenSea's ERC721SeaDrop, unchanged, plus a few additions. Every mint goes through SeaDrop. The 5% creator fee is set onchain, and enforcement is switched on before the mint opens.
Souls are ERC-8048 records: context (the soul.md), name, one key per trait, tier, rank, image and the muse's page. The god locks the soul, name and traits once every record is written.
Before the first mint, registerAgents gives every muse an ERC-8004 agent, and whoever holds the muse controls that agent.
The upload order is committed onchain as a provenance hash before the first mint. After mint-out, the hash of a block named then sets where that order starts, so while minting nobody knows which muse a token holds, not even us.
The mint and royalty payouts go through 0xSplits splits with no owner, and the Swapper that burns has none either.

nine hundred and ninety nine muses, each waiting in gold thread for whoever mints them.
Every muse is sealed at mint and turns on the carousel until the reveal, 24 hours after mint-out. Then all 999 step off at once.
You get a sealed muse, still turning on the carousel. Nobody knows who is inside yet.

For a day, every muse stays sealed. Trade, hold, and wonder who waits on the carousel.
