Lake Tuz

t is a Lake Tuz located at the intersection of the regions of Ankara, Konya and Aksaray in the Central Anatolian Region of Turkey. 40% of Turkey's salt was killed from this lake. In Tuz Gölü, meteorological waters "filter" the ground, first separating the salt domes and tectonic lines.

The second largest lake in Turkey's surface area, it is in the deepest part of a large tectonic depression formed by the pond. This depression is related to tectonic movements in the Neogene. The depression in which Tuz Gölü is located is in the world with faults from the east, west and south. In the Quaternary, less cloudy, the area of ​​the lake decreased. Time has regained an even smaller lake, sanity.
