This collection represents the beginning of my story as a staging photographer.

The genesis of "Luxury Babouche" was taken in 2000, on photographic film, without retouching. Some friends of mine in love with Morocco asked me to make a series of photos of their babouches for an exhibition on Samaritaine's rooftop in Paris.

Kate Moss, Magazines like WAD, and others adopted them.

This series evokes in me splendid memories, smiles, and friendship. That's when I realized that staged photography was my identity as a photographer.
