This historical collection consists of snapshots of the Ethereum GAS Tracker taken after the Goerli Testnet merge (on Aug. 10th) and before the Bellatrix Upgrade (Epoch 144,896 on Sept. 6th). Aside from the lowest recorded GAS value (1-low, 1-medium, 2-high) the collection consists entirely of triples – i.e. when low through high gas all had the same value. As a final salute to Proof of Work, each piece was individually ‘hand made’ by searching through the GAS Tracker snapshots (taken at 15s intervals over the majority of each day), finding each triple, and clipping/resizing the images. The collection size of 114 was dictated primarily by the network.
