Many moons ago, you could say life in the Milky Way was extraordinary. Planets erupted with culture, and communities of all different species flourished in every direction. Beings from the far corners of the universe would visit this milky hot-spot just to experience the clatter and the buzz of life. And while the Milky Way was the most populated galaxy at one point in history, everything unexpectedly changed overnight when a supernatural cosmic event dissolved all planetary life forever.
The Milky Way was destroyed and lost to a devastating atomic explosion. Echos of its silence moved through the universe as planetary debris floated into nothingness. And while the galaxy lay lifeless, what seemed like the end of one chapter was only the beginning of the next as tiny embers of light began to emanate from the large piles of floating rubble.
Eight heavenly beings arose from the glowing ashes that night. Each one bearing unrecognizable genetic mutations. They formed fingers and arms like humanoids, yet emerged with round face-less heads and uncanny ears. They exhibited advanced, supernatural abilities, yet molecularly resembled nature in a familiar way—Like water, minerals, plants, animals, and living organisms.
But shocked by the surrounding landscape of rubble and dust the beings held each other in solidarity, knowing they were the lucky few that survived the blast. Vowing their alliance to one another, they agreed to restore what was left of the Milky Way and lead a new world together.
