A group of six cosmic avatars, the Palm Cats, are pulled from their home when a "Nexus Fracture" opens, revealing a vision of a hunted "Forgotten Engineer." A schematic from the vision falls through the portal, setting their mission: cross over to retrieve the Engineer's work.
They are transported to Abyssoria, a mysterious ocean realm. Arriving on a seemingly perfect beach, they are unsettled by ominous drumming and the feeling of being watched from the deep. Trapped between a menacing jungle and an unnatural sea, they must uncover the Engineer's secrets before the ocean's hunger consumes them.
