As a self-taught creative; I have started my career as jr. creative in fashion and tv industries. During these years; i got my first DSLR camera and began to document the events and express my creativity by photography. I ‘ve been performed in various creative jobs for tv talent shows, circus, dance competitions, fashion shows, concerts etc. with Tanju Babacan Fashion Studio.
In following years I became a creative director for several brands, consultant and mentor for designers, entrepreneur, tv script writer, project designer in philanthropic area…
Even I still do most of these jobs today with a great passion, the place of art in my life deserves an exclusive explanation. Since early years of my career, I create art, especially as photography with such an enormous excite, I’m sure I can say art making is the ultimate freedom and lenses are gateways to my uneducated, uncensored mind.
For creating a memorial forest in Turkey, an individual can take one of couple paths which always requires to collaborate with an NGO by donating money for the operational part of the project and of course those NGOs rely on the directions of dedicated department of government especially on location of the forest is gonna be planted and other paperworks required. Min 2000 seedlings has to be planted to register the field as a memorial forest for individual donations.

I created this collection purely by thinking about trees, branching, recursion, fractalization since i was studying and trying to improve skills on nodeJS creative coding. I personally have a strong connection with trees since i known myself. Climbed on them. Munched their fruits. Fell from them. Hid behind them. Covered under them. Carved them. Burnt them. Smelt them. Enjoyed their presence and the serenity they gave me in every moment of my life when i m around of some. You can see it in my other works too as you perhaps know already that this gif here called ‘Serenity’ is an early work themed with trees.
My curiosity on armoring new skills and habit to revisit my knowledge and past experiences with a new perspective led me to think about this project seriously than i had started. That’s why i created this collection with a script generated 2000 pngs in different volumes and color palettes so each forest image represented by a token on blockchain can also represent a donation for a tree to planted in the memorial forest in name of cryptoart community located in Turkey.
