Many people like to travel, whether it’s by a car, a boat or an aircraft. We either travel by a light aircraft, an airliner or a private jet if we are wealthy enough. Aircraft are designed to fly, but eventually they will have to land back on the ground and hopefully land safely. While we travel and enjoy, firefighters all over the world are hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

I’m a former private pilot and I’ve been working at the Keflavik International airport for 7 years in various jobs but my passion for different types of aircraft has always been the same. I’ve had the chance to capture light private aircraft with great history at local airports and the most extremely rare moments at the Keflavik International airport.
