After graduating from its closed beta in August 2024, Footium is ready to challenge established favorites in the football management genre to create a game with long-term appeal. What began as a university hackathon project has grown into a thriving community of over 1,000 players, proving the demand for a new approach with deeper fan engagement.

We sat down with George Benton from Footium to discuss how they’re redefining the football management genre.
